Fritz Complete is a concentrated, full-spectrum water conditioner that detoxifies chlorine, chloramine, heavy metals, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Safe to use in fresh and saltwater, including reef and planted aquariums. Use when setting up new aquariums, performing water changes or to quickly alleviate high ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
Treat harmful ammonia and nitrite spikes, reducing stress to fish.
Safe for all systems with fish, coral, invertebrates, live plants. Will not overactivate skimmers or affect pH.
Will not harm biological filter beds. Detoxified ammonia is still bioavailable to nitrifying bacteria.
Add 1 tsp (5 mL) per 50 U.S. Gallons (189 L) of water
For very high ammonia levels, dose may be safely increased or repeated up to 5x within a 24 hour period.
Each dose of Complete will neutralize up to 0.5 ppm of ammonia, 1.0 ppm of nitrite, and 15 ppm of nitrate.
When testing for ammonia while using Complete, use salicylate-type ammonia test kit (those with yellow/green color charts) like Fritz Ammonia Test kit. Nessler-type ammonia test kits (those with yellow/amber color charts.) will not be accurate.
If adding more than one dose in warmer water (>86°F/ 30°C) ensure water is well oxygenated. The active ingredient can reduce the dissolved oxygen quickly when used in large amounts. Avoid overdosing or frequent dosing if possible.
For the most accurate dosing, use the total water volume of your entire system — including sumps — less any displacement from substrate, rocks, and decorations. Note that some imperial measurements are rounded to the nearest common measure for ease of use.
