FritzZyme® Monster 460 is a powerful probiotic blend of naturally-occurring heterotrophic bacteria specifically chosen for their ability to quickly digest organic sludge common in aquariums. Sludge includes fish waste, leftover food and other decaying organic matter. When left unchecked, sludge can lead to unsightly algae growth and other issues. The bacteria in FritzZyme Monster 460 is safe, non-toxic and non-pathogenic.
Regular use helps minimize substrate cleaning and water changes while extending filter media life. Natural bacteria quickly break down waste, eliminate odors, and clarify the water—keeping your aquarium clean, clear, and balanced.
FritzZyme Monster 360 / 460 contains a highly-concentrated blend of bacteria. More colony-forming units (CFUs) per dose means more waste-reducing power.
Used along with FritZyme Nitrifying Bacteria, FritzZyme Monster 360 / 460 is a simple, natural approach to water treatment.
Add 1 tsp (5 mL) per 25 US gallons (95 L)

Variations of odor and color between bottles is normal. Lack of odor or a strong odor does not mean the bacteria are dead.
For the most accurate dosing, use the total water volume of your entire system — including sumps — less any displacement from substrate, rocks, and decorations. Note that some imperial measurements are rounded to the nearest common measure for ease of use.
