FritzZyme® Trace is a specially formulated solution of trace elements, minerals and electrolytes found to be essential for the natural growth and function of healthy nitrifying bacteria and heterotrophic bacteria. Our formula is backed by years of experience in biological research and our own manufacturing processes.
FritzZyme® Trace has been developed for use with RO/DI water but is also a great addition to tap water that is often lacking some or all of the trace elements. FritzZyme® Trace is beneficial to not only FritzZyme® brand biological products but all commercial biological products.
Add 5 mL (1 tsp / 1 cap) per 10 U.S. gallons (38 L).
Repeat with water changes or whenever mineral levels are low.
FritzZyme Trace does not contain Calcium or Magnesium and will not increase GH.
Do not overdose. Use FritzZyme Trace to replenish levels only when adding new water, not topping off since evaporated water leaves minerals behind.
These trace elements require specialty water testing to monitor levels.
FritzZyme Trace is compatible with all aquatic systems.
For the most accurate dosing, use the total water volume of your entire system — including sumps — less any displacement from substrate, rocks, and decorations. Note that some imperial measurements are rounded to the nearest common measure for ease of use.
